QUETTA (SANA): Balochistan National Party-Mengal has rejected the proposed Balochistan package prepared by the incumbent government in an apparent attempt to allay reservations of the Balochistan province.
Meanwhile PPP and Pakhtunkhwa Milli Awami Party have announced to fully support the proposed government package for Balochistan.
In an interview with TV channel Former Chief Minister Balochistan and BNP (M) Chief Sardar Akhtar Jan Mengal said that the proposed Balochistan package is not the solution of Baloch problems.
Akhtar Mengal rejecting the proposed government package and said that the rulers has not understand the Baloch people's problems, adding that the Baloch people had not started the armed struggle for any package.
He said those who are fighting with the government are not fighting for receiving any package.
He said if the government is serious in solving the Baloch people's problems it should create friendly atmosphere in Balochistan.
He asked the government to halt military operation immediately in Balochistan and call back military in barracks.
He also asked the government to produce missing persons from Balochistan then they would be ready to talk with government on other Baloch issues.
Talking on the occasion Pakhtunkhwa Milli Awami Party Senior Vice Chairman Senator Abdul Rahim Mandokhel supported the proposed Balochistan package saying that his party will support all steps of government which will be aimed at solving the Baloch problems.
He said while negotiations with Baloch people Baloch and Pushtoon should be treated equally.
He said that the Baloch people should be given the honor ship of natural resources of the area.
He said the Pushtoons are being ignored in Balochistan as chief secretary, chief minister, governor and commissioners of six divisions are Baloch people.
Meanwhile, PPP Balochistan President Senator Lashkari Raesani said that PPP has prepared a constitutional and administrative package for the Baloch people which will solve the financial issues of Balochistan and will help creating jobs for the inhabitants of Balochistan.
Answering a question Lashkari Raesani said all the demands of Baloch people have been accepted in the proposed package for Balochistan but those who are opposing the package he has no solution of their problem.
