Blood-Riddled Bodies of Five More Baloch “Missing Persons” Recovered

KHUZDAR/KECH: Five more bullet- riddled dead bodies of Baloch missing persons were recovered from Khuzdar and Kech districts of Balochistan on Monday.

According to police sources, on a tip-off that three dead bodies were lying in Zidee area of Khuzdar police rushed to the site and moved the bodies to hospital for postmortem.

Sources said that piece of paper were recovered from the pockets of victims on which the names of the victims were written. They were identified as Muhammad Ayub, Muhammad Hafiz and Murtaza Zehri.

Sources said that unidentified people had kidnapped victims few days ago from Khuzdar area and threw their bodies after killing them.

Hospital sources said that the victims were shot in their heads that caused their instant dead while torture marks were also present on their bodies that suggested that they were tortured before being shot dead. One of the victims Murtaza Zehri was stated to be worker of Baloch Republican Party.

A large number of people, including the relatives of victims rushed to the hospital after being informed about the recovery of bodies. A complete shutter down strike was observed in Khuzdar following the recovery of bodies on the call given by Baloch Students Organization (BSO-Azad). However, no untoward incident occurred during the strike.

In another similar incident, two bullet-riddled dead bodies were found in Turbat area of Kech district.

On secret information police rushed in Padark area of Turbat and shifted dead bodies to local hospital were they were identified as Zarif Baloch and Shamim Baloch.

Sources said that both victims were workers of Baloch National Movement (BNM) and residents of Kech district who were allegedly abducted by government agencies few days back from Kech district.

Sources said that both victims were hit bullets in their head and chest while signs of torture were also apparent on the bodies of Baloch political workers.

The relatives of all five victims accused government agencies and security forces for the brutal killing of their beloveds.

A shutter down strike was also observed in Kech district against the killing of Baloch missing persons as shopkeepers brought all business activities to a standstill.

Meanwhile, chairman Voice for Baloch Missing Persons (VBMP) Nasrullah Baloch has appealed United Nations and humanitarian organizations for taking immediate notice of killing of missing persons in Balochistan allegedly in custody of government agencies.

He said that 140 bullet riddled dead bodies of Baloch missing persons had been recovered from different parts of Balochistan during past eight months and adding that despite assurances of government officials and judiciary, the unending series of killing of missing persons could not be stopped. He feared that if immediate steps were not taken the rest of missing persons would also be killed in same style.

He said that those forces which were whisking away innocent people and political workers, and throwing their mutilated bodies in desolated areas were more powerful than government and judiciary.

Meanwhile, strongly condemning the killing of party workers, Baloch National Movement has announced three-day mourning against the killings of missing persons while Baloch National Front has given a complete shutter down strike across Balochistan on April 27
