Fifth day of protest in Panjgour, Pakistani security forces continue to harass people in Makuran

Occupied Balochistan: The ongoing shutter down and wheel Jam strike against cold-blooded murder of three Baloch political activists entered in its fifth day. The relatives had given the call for protest and the BNF has supported it.

All the shops, markets, commercial establishments, banks and even chemists’ shops and eating houses remained constantly closed due to which the residents are facing difficulties. Schools and offices were also closed in Panjgur district.

The relatives of the victims of under-custody killings have said that their loved one had been abducted by Pakistan’s security agencies on 15 August 2010 before several eye-witnesses and after several months of severe torture and inhuman treated they were killed in custody and buried in a mass grave at a deserted location. They said FIR has also been lodged against perpetrators on this incident at Panjgour Police station but no action has been taken.

The families said, “We don’t expect justice from the judiciary of this country because have been appealing them to recover our loved ones but he received their decomposed and mutilated bodies instead. Hence, we appeal the International Human Rights Organisations, the UN and other justice loving countries to raise voice against this ongoing human tragedy and state barbarism in Balochistan. Help us bring the perpetrators of these heinous crimes to justice”.

Meanwhile BSO-Azad took out a protest rally in Panjgour against the killing of Baloch youth by state’s intelligence agencies. The rally marched through streets of Khudabadan, Gramkan and shaibood chanting slogan against the state atrocities. The BSO-Azad was protesting against cold-blooded murder of Agha Abid Shah Baloch, Sattar Baloch, Safeer Baloch, Ali Jan Baloch, Tariq Karim Baloch and others. The participants of the rally paid glowing tributes to Baloch Martyrs and raised slogans in favour of Balochistan’s freedom.

Pakistani security forces harassing family of a 13 year old boy in Makuran: Human Rights, Islamic values, Baloch traditions and the law of the land are being crush by Pakistani security forces during search operations in Makuran region of Balochistan. Students and people from other professions and of all ages are being harassed and threatened in Gwadar, Kech and Panjgour. Pakistani intelligence agencies and FC are continuing search operation in Makuran just like several other regions of Balochistan.

During these operations the security forces are violating all norms of civilisation and humanity. Innocent people are being dragged out of their houses and beaten and humiliated before general public. The so called elected representatives in Assemblies take millions of Rupees as bribe to keep their eyes and mouth shut on the abductions and killings of innocent Baloch youth. In the view of current circumstances the residents of these above mentioned areas have appealed the International Human Rights Organisations to take notice of Pakistani security forces atrocities in Balochistan.

Meanwhile, a resident of the Balochistan’s coastal town of Gwadar, Mr Arif Baloch, told local journalists that the Pakistani security forces has threatened his family to hand over his younger brother, who is only 13 years old, to them otherwise entire family will face a dire consequences.

He said that on Monday night the Frontier Core (FC) and Intelligence agencies, six vehicles has besieged the entire area and knocked the door of his house in darkness of night – when his aged father opened the gate to see who they were; the forces brutally beat him up and used abusive language, moreover, they also looted Cash and other valuables from him.

They demanded that “We should hand over Saddam Baloch, my younger brother, to them but he was not present in home at the time of the raid. He said that his younger brother, Saddam Baloch, is a school student and he is only 13 years of age. “Saddam is not affiliated with any Parties; our only crime is that we are Baloch and that reason we’re regularly being harassed and humiliated – the state is committing genocide of our people”. Arif Baloch has appealed the International Human Rights Organisation for immediate security and protection from Pakistani Intelligence agencies.
