Occupied Balochistan: An official vehicle of Frontier Corps was attacked with a remote controlled blast in Panjgur, some 500-kilometers away from Quetta, on Saturday. According to sources, unidentified persons placed a remote control device attached with a motorcycle and parked it near Jamia Mosque Panjgur. It was detonated by remote control when FC patrol passed through the area, two FC soldier have been wounded and their vehicle has been partially damaged. Due to the intensity of the blast two power pylons were also blown up and window panes of nearby shops and houses were smashed. The power supply to different areas was suspended after the explosion. FC personnel and other law enforcement agencies threw a cordon in the area soon after the blast and started probe. The incident also triggered panic in the area where shops were closed for want of security.
According to BUC news blog a spokesperson of BLF (Baloch Liberation Front) claimed that fighters from his organisation have attacked an FC patrolling team on Saturday and killed eight soldiers. He said that the FC vehicle has been completely destroyed in the blast.
Firing on Riko Diq Company camp in Panjgur several injured
Chagia: Sarmachars of Baloch Liberation Front attacked International Company’s camp in Panjgur where the company had recently set up a camp to explore mineral resources in prom area of Panjgur. Several Company staff has been wounded and two of the vehicles were heavily damaged in the attack, claimed Basham Baloch a spokesperson of the BLF.
The company which is involved in secret negotiations with federal government of Pakistan for exploration and development of Riko Diq gold and copper mines in Chaghai district had set up a camp in Prom area of Panjgur.
The BLF spokesperson Basham Baloch said that his Organisation had repeatedly warned the International Companies not to invest in controversial projects in Balochistan but some Companies have ignored their warning.
He once again warned that Baloch fighters will target the International Companies involved in looting Balochistan’s natural resources. He once again urged the International Companies to stop their activities in Balochistan otherwise the attacks against them will continue.
