QUETTA: Reliable official sources confirmed here on Saturday that Governor Balochistan Nawab Zulfiqar Ali Magsi has castigated Chief Minister Balochistan Nawab Mohammad Aslam Raisani and his government over constantly failing to curb lawlessness in the province.According to the details, Governor Magsi has written a letter to Chief Minister Raisani expressing his concern and displeasure over the state of affairs in the province. He took exception of increasing cases of highway robberies and target killings. He said the situation in the province had deteriorated to such an extent that even tribal notables could not safely travel on highways as they feared being kidnapped by criminal groups for ransom.
Sources added that the governor maintained that Levies Force had totally failed to guard the highways and suggested that Police, Frontier Corps (FC) and Anti-Terrorist Force (ATF) should be deployed on the highways to ensure passengers’ safety.
” When a crime takes place between Nothal and Ghandawa, the police in three districts of Naseerabad, Jhal Magsi and Bolan refuse to accept responsibility. Instead, they start blaming each other. The provincial government must do something about it,” said the the twice-elected CM-turned-Governor.
