Three electric towers blown up, attacks on settlers and security forces

Occupied Balochistan: Two electric pylons have been blown up in district Bolan in Balochistan, due to which 16 districts of Balochistan including the capital city Quetta plunged into darkness. According to detail unknown tied explosive devices to a main line 220KV transmission in Kolpur area and blew it up which resulted cutting off the electricity to at least sixteen districts of Balochistan including Quetta. The repair work could not have been started due security clearance.

Meanwhile a private TV channel reported that another electric tower was destroyed in Mastung area of Balochistan, which affected the supply of electric to nearby areas. According the government owned TV the blast occurred in the Jalp Gidan region of district Mastung. The reported further said that due to powerful blast one transmission was completely destroyed while another has partially been damaged.

Killings in Mastung: Three people including a student were shot dead in Mastung. According reports reaching from Mastung two staff and a student of Mastung Cadet College were fired upon when they were going to the town, apparently for shopping. The killed men have been named as Abu Hamza a student from Quetta, Munir Ahmad controller of Cadet College and another staff Ali Ahmad Baloch. The incident occurred in the Prangabad region of the town.

Meanwhile Meerak Baloch a spokesman of Baloch armed Organisation BLA rang NNI and claimed the responsibility the attack on Cadet college staff and blowing up the electric towers in Kolpur region and Mastung.

He further said that he understood that two Baloch were also killed in the attack on Cadet College staff but their target was the settler in that car. He further said that Baloch Freedom Fighters have time and again warned Baloch and Pashtun public to stay away from the settlers and Pakistani security forces because Baloch fighters will attack them whenever they see the opportunity. He once again asked Baloch and Pashtun people to stay away from Punjabi settlers and security forces. He said Baloch sarmachaar do not want to target any innocent person.

Blasts in Khuzdar: Two huge blasts have been reported from Khuzdar city in Balochistan. No casualties have been reported so far and the police was still trying to ascertain the place of the blasts.

Blasts in Kohlu and Dera Bugti, one killed: One men Rohail Bugti had died after he stepped on a land mine in Dilgoshar area of Dera Bugti. The police have handed over his body to relative after fulfilling their official formalities.

In a similar land mine blast in Kohlu a Pakistani security forces official has sustained serious injuries. According to details a Frontier Corps (FC) personal was patrolling on feet when he stepped over the land mine blast and suffered injuries. He was immediately shifted to hospital for treatment.

Naseerabad: A handgrenade was hurled into the house of Shah Noor in Dera Murad Jamali town of district Naseerabad in Balochistan. Mr Noor has been slightly injured and the windowpanes of the house were also damaged.
