QUETTA: Lawyers belonging to the Baloch Bar Association (BBA) observed a boycott in various district courts of province and did not appear during the hearing of cases on Friday against the killing of Majeed Lango, a leading Baloch leader, who was killed in an exchange of firing with the security forces on Wednesday.According to a statement issued here by the spokesman of the BBA, the boycott was observed in Quetta, Mastung, Kalat, Gwadar, Bela, Turbat, Panjgur, Noshki, Chagai, Kharan, Usta Mohammad. No lawyer appeared before a court of law throughout the day of boycott as the BBA termed it as a very effective response to its call.
People faced hardships when they came for hearing of their cases, which was adjourned, to next hearing.
