Talking to Balochistan Express, spokesman of Baloch Bar Association, Saidq Raisani has said that the boycott will be continued till July 13 in order to highlight the grave issue of missing persons.
He severely criticized the Judicial Commission as saying it was formed to conceal the truth and divert the attention of international human rights commissions from real fact, “around 8 thousand people are reported to be missing from Balochistan and the commission is holding the list of merely 102 missing persons which prove that its aim is to conceal the reality.”
“We, the Baloch people, have no faith on judiciary and any judicial commission,” he said adding United Nations and international humanitarian organizations should intervene in this humanitarian issue and conduct a transparent survey so that the reality could be emerged. He alleged that all the missing persons are in the custody of secret agencies and they kept them in different torture cells.
Meanwhile, addressing a news conference at Quetta Press Club, a man introduced himself as Yasin Mohhamd Shahi threatened that if his missing brother Mujib Mohammad Shahi was not released soon he will commit suicide before the Balochistan High Court.
He alleged that his brother was picked up along with his four friends by Frontier Crops personnel from the premises of University of Balochistan on September 1st, 2009 and since then his brother is missing.
Yasin said that several eyewitness recorded their statements before the judicial commission and police station but all in vain. He warned that if his brother was not released from illegal custody he will burn himself alive in front of the Balochistan High Court.
