The assembly session started with Speaker Muhammad Aslam Bhootani in the chair. Speaking on his adjournment motion, the mover MPA of the Pakistan Muslim League-Q Shaikh Jaffar Khan Mandokhail expressed his concern over deteriorating law and order situation in Balochistan.
Earlier, he said convoy of Governor Balochistan Nawab Zulfiqar Ali Magsi was attacked in Mangochar area and today (Tuesday) convoy of Chief Minister Balochistan Nawab Muhammad Aslam Raisani was targeted in Quetta.
He emphasized the need to launch joint efforts to put a halt to menace of lawlessness.
Senior Minister for Planning and Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (JUI) leader Maulana Abdul Wasey, while flaying attacks on convoys of Governor and Chief Minister of Balochistan, underlined the need to convene conference of all political parties to figure out a solution to secure peace in the province.
Sports Minister Mir Shah Nawaz Marri recalled that his uncle Justice Nawaz Marri was murdered within the premises of Balochistan High Court (BHC), adding but killers could not be arrested so far.
He alleged that assailants who attacked convoys of the Governor and Chief Minister were getting foreign aid.
Later, the Speaker adjourned the house till December 10 at 11am.
