Occupied Balochistan,KALAT:Another Balochistan National Party (BNP) activist Rais Ali Ahmed Langou was gunned down in Kalat, some 145 kilometres from the Quetta on Wednesday. BNP announced three days of mourning.
No one has claimed responsibility for the killing, BNP blamed government “death squad” for the assassination. Langou was on his way to meet former provincial minister Prince Musa Jan, when some unidentified armed men riding a motorbike, opened fire on him near the Balochistan park in Kalat, killing him instantly.
The assailants managed to escape from the scene after committing the crime. Langou was laid to rest in Kalat. His funeral was attended by many political workers and government officials. BNP Kalat district Press Secretary Rahim Mengal and Gulam Husain Shawani alleged that BNP workers are targeted by security forces. They blamed the “death squads” of the government for killing of political opponents in Balochistan.
