Three killed in blasts, firing in Balochistan

Occupied Balochistan - At least three people were killed and three others wounded in different incidents of bomb blasts and firing in separate towns of Balochistan on Sunday.

Unidentified people blew up a gas pipeline in Dera Bugti district also. According to reports reaching here, two persons identified as Khadim and Dur Muhammad were on their way in RD-238 area of Naseerabad when one of them stepped on a landmine laid by unidentified people.

The landmine went off with a big bang killing both of them on the spot while another person sustained injuries in the blast. Local law-enforcement agencies rushed to the site and moved the dead and injured to the hospital. In another incident, a person was killed in firing incident in Sariab area of Quetta.

Police said that unidentified people opened fire on Muhammad Jan at Musa Colony and escaped from the site after committing the crime. As a result, he received serious injuries and died on his way to hospital.

In another incident, two people were seriously wounded in Dera Bugti in a bomb blast. Sources said that unknown people had fitted explosives in Patogh area of Dera Bugti which exploded and wounded a tribal leader and his son, who were rushed to the hospital for treatment.

Meanwhile, unidentified people had fitted explosives with an 8-inch diameter gas pipeline in Loti area of Dera Bugti which went off and damaged pipeline. Resultantly, gas supply to purification from well No 3 was suspended. Levies personnel rushed to the site after the blast and registered a case against unknown accused.

Meanwhile, spokesman of Baloch Republican Army (BRA) Sarbaaz Baloch calling from unspecified location claimed responsibility for blowing up gas pipeline and bomb blast in Dera Bugti.
