News : Three brothers abducted from Panjgour






Occupied Balochistan: According to Panjgur police, a man Abdul Rasul Baksh resident of Tasp area Panjgur has lodged a case in which he stated that his three sons have been missing since Sunday morning. He said that his sons Kuda-e-Rheem, Abdul Wahid and Rashid left for their shop in a car and since then they were missing.

“My sons were kidnapped along with their car by unknown people,” he told the police “They were shopkeepers and police are investigating the matter,” a local police official, Mohammad Janzeb said and adding that he does not comment whether it was an incident of kidnapping for ransom.

It pertinent to add that Pakistani security forces often abduct Baloch youth in similar fashion from different areas of Balochistan. Residents of the area suspect that these brothers have also been abducted by Pakistani security agencies. It is also important to mention that more than 8000 people have been forcefully disappeared from Balochistan by Pakistani military and intelligence agencies. Since July 2010 Pakistan military personnel have started to kill and dump the Baloch political prisoners, over 130 Baloch activists have been killed under-custody and the fate of thousands still remains unknown.

The families of Baloch abducted persons along with the Voice for Baloch Missing Persons have set up protest camps in several town of Balochistan, Karachi and Islamabad in order to create awareness among ordernary people about the plight of Baloch Nation and to seek the attention of International Community and Human Rights Orgnisations.
