Rally demands recovery of all abducted activists in Balochistan

Occupied Balochistan: Relatives of missing person Najeeb Qambarani and residents of Killi Qambarani staged a protest and demonstration in front of Quetta Press Club on Saturday condemning the illegal arrest and detention of Najeeb Qambarani by the security forces. The protestors, including women and children, took out a procession from the premises of City Government and after passing through different roads reached at the Quetta Press Club where they held a protest demonstration condemning arbitrary arrest and detention. Protesters were carrying placards and banners inscribed with their demands for immediate recovery of missing persons. They chanted slogans against the Government and security agencies for alleged being responsible for illegal arrest and wrongful confinement.

Addressing the protesters, Nassem Qambarani, sister of Najeed Qambarani, Hafiz Ahmed Raza and Adnan Baloch, strongly condemned the unlawful arrest and said that the Govt is definitely powerless having no say in arrest and release of the missing persons. They claimed that for the past three months, 32 bullet riddled bodies have been found of missing persons and now Najeeb Qambarani and others Baloch missing persons’ life is in danger. Sister of Najeeb Qambarani has said security personnel took her brother in between 22- 23 night in October on 2009.

They searched over house but could not find any thing and took away a bike also, she said. There was no FIR against of him so why they took him. She alleged that the so called democratic Government is worst than the dictatorial Government of the past. The protestors called upon the United Nation and European Union to intervene and take note of enforced disappearance for immediate recovery of Baloch people.
