Voice for Baloch Missing Persons expressed dissatisfaction with the inquiry committee

Occupied Balochistan: Voice for Baloch Missing Persons (VBMP) expressed dissatisfaction with the Government Commission that has been set up for release of missing persons. The Chairman of VBMP Nassurallah Baloch was quoted as saying that “The commission is not serous in fact is further delaying this sensitive issue”.

He further said that, Commission which is led by Justice Fazullah-ur-Rheman is registering the statement from the beginning once again which proves that they are not taking the sensitive issue of Baloch missing person seriously but trying keep in cold-storage. He said that Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gillani and federal interior Minister Rheman Malik’s statements that only 38 Baloch activists have don’t contain even the slightest truth. “We have collected and submitted full data of 1300 enforced-disappeared Baloch activist among them over 160 have already been killed under-custody and their decomposed bodies were found across Balochistan”.

He further said that his organisation is gravely concern those Baloch activists who are being illegal held by Pakistan’s intelligence agencies. “On organisational basis we have rejected the inquiry Commission but every individual has a right to register statement for their loved one. The families are, IF, submitting their case before the commission they are only so to expose the lies of state institution to the International Community”, remarked Mr Nasrullah Baloch.

He went on to say that “We know these [government] institutions cannot help us; they making suffer psychologically and they have the support of state agencies. We have reservations against them and we do not expect justice from them”.

He said in July one year of their protest for the recovery of Baloch missing persons will be complete; they will organise a seminars and sit-in protest in front of chief minister and governor houses. He also vowed to extend and intensify his struggle for the recovery of Baloch forced disappeared persons and to bring the perpetrators to justice. In the end he said that Voice for Baloch Missing Persons is struggling to bring the plight of Baloch Nation, especially the issue of forced-disappearances to the attention of International Human Rights Organisations.

Meanwhile the aged mother of Zakir Majeed Baloch, vice chairman of BSO-azad who has been abducted on 8 June 2009, has also boycotted the so called judicial inquiry commission. In a rather hear-touching plea she appealed to International community for help.

“My son Zakir Majeed Baloch is missing for 2 years these courts and so called guardian of justice could not bring him to surface. Now on I boycott the court and commissions of this county because I know they just make tall claims in the name of Islam justice but do not implement their on passed laws and fulfil their promises. These institutions are made to mock the humanity and justice”. Cursing the Intelligence agencies and military of Pakistan she said these military officer also have sons and loved ones like zakir Majeed “Today I as a lonely mother cry for my son may, God-willing, the day come when these officers cry for their sons and loved one – then they’ll know the pain of being separated from their dearest ones”.

Addressing the world’s institutions of peace and justice she said “oh! Peace loving people of world please help to get my son released, if you remain silent and ignore my plea then there will is no one for me to call for help but GOD who is greater than all the judges in the world. I will call him [GOD] for help and will never ask these cruel [Pakistani institutions] for mercy”. She said her son has not committed any crimes he has been arrested for merely being a Baloch. However, if he has committed any crimes he should be surfaced, trialled and punished before the whole world but keeping him disappearing is a trauma for the entire family.
