According to independent sources and reports published on Daily Tawar Newspaper Pakistani authorities have arrested and disappeared a well-known Baloch columnist and advocate from Quetta. A Balochi TV channel has reported that Mr Ali Sher Kurd was staying at the houses of a relative Dr. Saleem Kurd in Gilani Road Quetta, when the security forces raided his houses and arrested advocated Sher Ali.
Mr. Kurd’s whereabouts remain unknown like thousands of other abducted Baloch activists. He is the third lawyer who has been abducted from Balochistan. Previously Lawyer Zaman Khan Marri and Munir Mirwani had been abducted by Pakistani intelligence agencies. Zaman Khan Marri was later killed while in custody whereas Munir Mirwani is still missing.
