QUETTA: A dead body of a woman was found near Killi Qambrani area of provincial capital on Wednesday.
Police took the bodies to Bolan Medical Complex (BMC) for autopsy.
“The killed woman had been strangulated to death and the body was kept in morgue for identification,” doctor Baqer Shah told newsmen at the hospital. He further said that it was not a rape case. The motive behind the murder could not be ascertained. However, police said they were investigating the matter.
Meanwhile, unknown identified assailant shot dead a farmer, Atta Mohammad, and threw away his body on Qambrani Road.
According to police, Atta Mohammad was kidnapped from Killi Baro area of metropolis in the morning on Wednesday and the body has been found in evening.
It could be a case of personal enmity, a police official said adding that a case has been registered against unknown persons and police have started probe.
