QUETTA: Three persons were killed and another man suffered bullet injuries in an of target killing near Raisani Chowk in Hazar Ganji area, an out skirt of provincial capital, on Tuesday.
According to details, three persons (vegetable vendors) were going to purchase vegetable stock from Hazarganji Sabzi Market, when some unknown armed men ridding on a motorcycle opened fire on their vehicle, resultantly three persons died on the spot while one sustained wounds.
Police and security personnel rushed to the spot soon after the incident and cordoned off the area. They corpses & injured were shifted to Bolan Medical Complex Hospital for treatment/forensic where they the dead bodies were identified as Abdul Wahb, Zahir and Mohammad Ali while the injured person was Ahmed Shah. Later dead bodies were handed over to their relatives for burial.
Police said that the incident is one of the series of sectarian target killings.
Police has registered the case against unknown persons and investigation is in pipe line.
