The United Arab Emirates Army stationed at Khalid Air Base in Balochistan has been undertaking rescue and relief operations in Pakistan’s underdeveloped Balochistan province for the last 45 days with remarkable success.
Brigadier Abdul Rehman Ibrahim bin Abdul Aziz told a group of local and international journalists here that the UAE Army had been undertaking rescue operation, relief distribution of goods and providing medical assistance to the makeshift camps situated at Jacobabad and Dera Murad Jamali. He mentioned that more than 72 Chinook flights had been completed during the last 45 days and its Army team succeeded in evacuating 1,295 people.
