Occupied Baluchistan: Six people, including a woman and four police officials, have been wounded when unidentified gunmen fired at them in the Killi Tarkha area of Spiny Road on Saturday morning.
According to reports, a Brewery police station van was on a routine patrol in the Killi Tarkha area near Rustam roundabout, when the officials became suspicious of a car. Police chased the car to a narrow street, where the assailants in the car opened fire, injuring four officials and two passers-by.
The attackers abandoned their and reportedly snatched someone else’s car at gunpoint and fled. The injured have been taken to the Bolan Medical Teaching Hospital. The injured officials have been identified as Assistant Sub Inspector Murtaza, Constable Mohammad Yousaf, Atta Mohammad and driver Ali Dad, and the civilians as Ibrahim Panaizai and a woman who could not be named so far. According to some reports the driver Ali Dad later succumbed to his injuries on the way to hospital.
Meanwhile in Kohlu, unknown persons have blown up four electric tower due to which electricity to many towns have been suspended. According to official reports timers [explosives] were used to destroy the towers.
Moreover four people including an FC official were injured in Seerat Roundabout in Balochistan’s industrial town of Hub when unknown attackers threw a hand grenade at Pakistani security forces’ vehicle. Heavy contingent of the FC have surrounded the town after the attack. Reportedly the security forces have detained and interrogated several people.
