These unarmed shepherds are only killed for the sole purpose of being Baloch and the occupying Iranian forces want to keep the people of Balochistan under their control and absolute fear.
Sources reported that the Iranian forces are setting up new checkpoints in the region at almost every link-road. There are at least between 200 - 300 soldiers in each of these check-posts. According to rough estimate there are almost 500,000 in different security forces stations only in Bampost district of Iranian occupied Balochistan.
Complaining about the increasing number of security check posts in Iranian occupied a Baloch activist on the conditions on anonymity said: “Each small town in Balochistan will have at least four security forces stations and each station contains two times more soldiers than the actual population of the town itself. This is utterly inhuman and Balochistan presents the scenes of a military state. Poor Baloch people are finding it difficult to even breathe in such a suffocating situation.”
State-run Iranian newspapers, however, reported that these three soldiers were killed by what they call drug smugglers and criminals. It is to be noted that Iran always justifies it atrocities against Baloch people by alleging them as smugglers and enemies of God.
