4 killed in Balochistan violence

QUETTA: Two bullet-riddled dead bodies, including one of Baloch missing person were discovered from Lasbela and Quetta towns on Sunday.

Official sources said area people spotted a dead body lying in Kashri area of Lasbela and informed local administration. After getting information, Assistant Commission Lasbela Muhammad Afzal Sarpara along with security personnel rushed to the site and moved the deceased to local hospital for autopsy.
Hospital sources said the victim was hit by bullets in head and marks of torture were also visible on his body that suggested that the victim was tortured before being killed.

The identity of deceased was confirmed from a receipt that was recovered from his pocket in which his name was written as Khair Bakhsh s/o Hasil Khan and resident of Awaran district.
Relatives of deceased said the Khair Bakhsh was allegedly abducted by government agencies while traveling to Bela from Awaran a few days back. After completing legal formalities the deceased was handed over to heirs.

In another incident, police recovered a decomposed dead body from Quetta. Police said the deceased was shot dead by unidentified men and later his body was thrown in Sariab locality. After autopsy, the body was shifted to hospital’s morgue for identity.

Meanwhile, four people, including a woman were killed and two other wounded in separate incidents of violence in various towns of Balochistan on Sunday.

In the first incident, unidentified armed men opened indiscriminate firing at vehicle of a tribal leader namely Jalal Hassanzai in Roghani area of Chaman. As result, six people, including, tribal leader were wounded in firing and were immediately shifted to Civil Hospital Chaman where two people identified as Rehmatullah and Gulbandin succumbed to their injuries.

However, four injured Jalal Hassanzai, Abdul Rauf, Sakhi Jan and Khanan were being given treatment and their condition is stated to be stable.

Deputy Commissioner, Abdul Fateh, Qila Abdullah confirmed the incident and said motive behind the killing was dispute for a piece of land. Levies Force personnel were deployed in the area to avoid further clash and control the situation.

In another incident, a son killed his mother in Rakni area and fled from the scene. Levies sources said, accused person, Musa, allegedly shot his mother dead after she opposed his love marriage.
Moreover, a person was shot dead in Qadirabad area of Nushki district. Police said, Muhammad Allam was on his way when unidentified armed men opened fire on him and escaped from the scene. Resultantly, he sustained serious wounds and was rushed to hospital for treatment where he breathed his last.
Police said it was case of enmity and investigation into the killing was underway.
