4 More Decomposed Bodies of Baloch Missing Person Recovered

QUETTA: Four decomposed bodies of Baloch missing persons, including of an activist of Baloch Students Organization (Azad), were recovered from the provincial capital on Saturday from two different locations.

Brewery police on a tip-off recovered three bodies packed in separate sacks from the mountains of Jabal-e-Noor in the outskirts of Quetta and moved them to Bolan Medical Complex Hospital for autopsy.
The identities of the bodies were confirmed through chits found from each body. They were identified as Maqsood Qalandarani son of Sher Muhammad, an activist of BSO-Azad, Ghulam Murtaza Sarpara son of Haleem and Nasir Badini.

Police recovered anotherdead body from Qambarani Road near Bibi Ziarat area and moved it to BMCH where he was identified as Abdul Khalil Baloch. Sources said that Khalil Baloch went missing a month ago. However, police was totally blank about the bodies that when they went missing and who is behind their brutal murder.

A police officer said that according to chits recovered from the pockets of dead bodies, the murderers had written that “These were the agents of Baloch Liberation Army”.
Hospital sources said the bodies bore severe marks of torture and the clothes of two bodies were wet when they brought to hospital. Ghulam Murtaza and Nasir Badini were brutally tortured before being killed while Nasir was shot in his head which caused his immediate death, they added.
They said body of Maqsood Qalandarani bore a deep wound of hard object presumably frequently hit by an iron instrument.
Police handed over body of Nasir Badini, Maqsood Qalandarani and Ghulam Murtaza to their heirs for burial.

BSO-Azad spokesperson said Maqsood Qalandarani was whisked away by Frontier Corps during a search drive in Tutak area of Khuzdar on February 18 this year along with 11 others who are still missing.
Nasurallah Baloch, chairman of Voice forBaloch Missing Persons (VBMP), while talking to media persons said all the four victims were on the list of missing persons and their relatives held news conferences in Quetta and Islamabad and staged demonstrations for their safe recovery.
He said Supreme Court ignored the appeal of the families whose bodies were found on Saturday. He appealed to international humanitarian organizations to exert pressure on Pakistani government to stop killing of missing persons. He claimed the number of missing persons in Balochistan was in thousands and if prompt notice was not taken, the rest of missing persons would be killed in the same manner.

It may be mentioned here that according to VBMP, more than 170 bullet-riddled bodies of Baloch political workers have been recovered from different parts of Balochistan during past 12 months.
Meanwhile, on the call of Baloch National Front a complete shutter down strike was observed in Kech district on the second consecutive day on Saturday against the recovery of decomposed bodies of Baloch youth. All business and trade activities in Turbat, Mand, Nasirabad, Tump, Buledia and Mand towns remained shut for the day.

Local administration hadtaken strict security measures to avoid any untoward incident in the area. No untoward incident occurred.
