Shutter down protest observed across Baluchistan, Several arrested

Occupied Baluchistan: A shutter down protest was observed across Baluchistan against the cold-blooded murder of Baluch forced-disappeared activists. BSO-azaad has given the call for protests to which the people of Baluchistan belonging to different fields of life have responded positively. It is worth noting that Pakistani MI and ISI’s death squads have killed more than half a dozen Baluch forced-disappeared activists in cold-blood. Those who have become victims of the Pakistan military death squads have been named as Najeeb Langove Baluch, Faizullah Baluch, Farooq Mengal, Ishraq Mollazai, Bahar Khan Bangulzai, Ghulam Qadir Marri (Perkani) and Nazeer Bangulzai.

Most of the major cities in Baluchistan remained shut all day on Thursday to show solidarity with the families of the Baluch victims of state terrorism and to express their anger towards the state [Pakistan] for continuing the genocide of Baluch Nation. Two activists of BSO-azaad, Israr Baluch and Fahim Baluch, have reportedly been injured when the FC restored to violence against the peaceful protesters in Punjgur Town. The FC (Frontier Corps) has also arrested seven Baluch students from Turbat Town of Baluchistan. The arrested students have been named as Jalal Baluch, Rehmat Baluch, Nawab Baluch, Nadeem Baluch, Mohsin Baluch, Hussein Baluch, and Anwar Baluch, their whereabouts remained undisclosed until the filing of this report.

The leaders of BSO-azaad thanked the Public and transporters for their co-operation. The Baluch students did, however, expressed anger over the hypocrisy of some traders in Quetta who had earlier assured full co-operation but on the day of protest refused to shut their businesses.

BSO-azaad called for a general strike on the 14 August and urged Baluch nation to hoist black flags on their houses and cars on this day to show that Baluch have nothing to do with the Independence of the artificial state [Pakistan].

Meanwhile Banuk Karima Baluch has asked the Baluch Nation to boycott all those singers and artists who take part in Pakistan Independence day programs. She said that Baluch mothers and sisters are grieving on the cold-blooded murder of their loved one and crying for the return of their near and dearest ones from the yoke of state [Pakistan]. Those who become part of enemy state’s Independence day’s programs and dance of the dead bodies of Baluch youth, they must be socially boycotted to make them realise that Baluch are fighting for their freedom and Pakistan’s independence has no importance for Baluch Nation.

She also appealed to the Baluch Nation to become part of BSO-azaad's program (campaign) against the brutal murder of Baluch activists in custody. To make this campaign successful every Baloch should come out and become a part of this program, she said.
