Armed criminals attacked BNF rally in Karachi, one injured, peoples’ Aman Committee responsible: Baloch parties

Karachi: Baloch National Front’s members have been attacked by unknown persons when they were celebrating the Independence Day of Balochistan on 11th august in Lyari,Karachi. According to details Baloch National Fornt organized a rally to celebrate the Independence Day of Balochistan. As the rally set off some unknown armed persons tried to prevent the Baloch masses from joining the Independence Rally, hoisting the flag of independent Balochistan and chanting slogans against Pakistan. When Baloch youth refused to follow their instructions, the armed men restored to aerial gunfire to disperse the crowd. As a reaction of firing the outrageous local residents came out of their houses and started chanting slogans against the Pakistan State as well as against the armed persons. After facing strong retaliations from the crowd the armed criminals left the area. However moments later more than 30 armed men repapered in in Kalari Ali Mohammad Mohallah and starting shooting in the air once again. They also warned the residents of the village that they should not talk of BLA and BNM anymore.

Meantime a Baloch youth named Naveed Baloch who was hoisting the flag of Independent Balochistan on an electric pole has been hit by a bullet and he fell on the ground. He was then abducted by these armed members of the criminal gang. Witnesses say that Naveed Baluch has been severely tortured and his half-dead blood soaked body was dumped in a deserted area, his condition is stated to be serious.

Naveed Baloch was transferred to hospital. According to initial reports his head has been hit with some heavy object and he also has bullet wounds, that is why he is in very critical condition. According to the local resident the armed man belong to Pakistan People Party’s Peoples Aman Committee (PAAC) who is being directly supporting by government against the pro-liberation Baloch nationalists in Karachi. They targeted the BNM member Hameed Baloch in the past. Erasing of pro-Baloch liberation movement wall chalking and dishonouring the posters of Baloch national martyrs are some of their daily activities, said local residents.

Meanwhile BNM lyari zone spokesperson while strongly condemning the criminals gangs said that the occupying state [Pakistan] are trying to keep the people of Lyari away from Baloch National struggle for liberation, but BNM has the capacity to stand against criminals gangs like the so called Aman Committee. Other Baluch pro-liberation parties have also strongly condemned the peoples’ Aman Committee for their anti Baluch behaviours in Lyari and other Baluch populated areas in Karachi.

On the other hand the mother of injured Naveed Baluch has said that her moral was high and he was proud of her son because he is working for the liberation of his people, Baluch Nation.
