Sources reported that several military trucks raided New Kahan Quetta; a Marri Baloch populated area, early Saturday morning. They carried out a house to house search and abducted at least three persons.
The residents of New Kahan said Pakistani security forces tortured women and children during the search operation and forced them to stay out of their houses for several hours in the below zero weather in Quetta.
Meanwhile, sources from Dera Bugti reported that a convoy of military vehicles carrying combat troops of Pakistan laid a siege around different areas in Pirkoh, Dera Bugti. Many villages including Bakir kohr, Sardaw, Hann, Haidaro, Kando and others were heavily bombarded, dozens of houses – mostly mud, wood and straw houses – of poor Baloch villagers were destroyed and burnt to ashes.
According BRP’s central spokesperson, “Fears run high about loss of innocent lives in the offensives but so far there has been no confirm reports of any casualties as the areas continue to remain under tight military siege and heavy bombardment since the morning
