Occupied Balochistan: The brutally tortured bullet riddled bodies of seven Baloch enforced-disappeared persons including four BSO-Azad activists were found from Mastung this morning.
According to reports the Pakistani forces discovered the four bodies on a tip off in the outskirts of Quetta on Thursday morning.
The bodies were brought to Mastung hospital where they were identified as Mehmood Baloch, Tariq Baloch, Hameed Bangulzai and Lateef Bangulzai. All deceased were members of Baloch Students Organization (Azad), a students organization who openly supports the struggle for independent Balochistan.
On 8 August 10 armed men in two officials vehicles opened indiscriminate firing on these Baloch youth and later abducted them in injured condition. The officials were believed to be personnel of Pakistani intelligence agencies.
Meanwhile, according to Tehseldar Mastung Javed Baloch, three more bodies were also found near Dashth area. The bodies couldn’t be identified as yet.
It should be noted that Pakistani Intelligence agencies have been abducting and killing Baloch political activists since June 2010. More than 200 bodies of Baloch intellectuals, journalists and political activists have surfaced since Pakistani Army adopted the brutal “kill and dump” policy. HRW and Amnesty international have urged international community to act and intervene in Balochistan.
Meanwhile, President of Pakistan Asif Ali zardari has reportedly authorized the Balochistan government to state for negotiations with the Baloch political leadership but at the mean time couldn’t halt the brutal belligerence of Pakistani Army. If this is the way things are going to be, no Baloch leader sitting on a pile of bodies would be willing to talk to the government. Pro-independence Baloch political parties and leaders have already made it clear that they will only think of negotiating with Pakistan if Pakistan military pull out form Balochistan voluntarily and independence of Balochistan is made part of any such negotiations.
