Open Letter to Native Americans: Please help Baluchistan

by Ahmar Mustikhan | January 27, 2010 at 10:42 pm

Two members of the presiding council of the pro-liberation American Friends of Baluchistan have written an open letter to the Native Americans of the United States to come to the rescue of the Baluch people and help end their genocide.

A.F.B. members Rashid Baloch and Malik Baloch on Thursday drew a parallel between the trail of blood and tears of the Native Americans to the gruesome happenings in Baluchistan, where the Baluch are engaged in a heroic struggle to regain their statehood.

Dear Native American brothers and sisters:

On behalf of the stateless Baluch people of southwest Asia, we the members of the presiding council of the American friends of Baluchistan are writing this letter to you as in history you have faced the same grave injustices and indignities at the hands of the white men as the Baluch are facing at the hands of the dominant Punjabis in Pakistan and the dominant Persians in Iran.

Unfortunately, the descendants of the very same forces that converted you guys into a minority on your homeland are today busy supplying deadly weapons to the Pakistan military to kill us. U.S. supplied Cobra gunship helicopters and F-16 fighter jets have been used against Baluch tribesmen in Kohlu and Sui.

And on top of that the Lockheed Martin company that manufactures the deadly aricraft promotes arts and culture for the rich in the Washington DC area-- an example the Strathmore in Northern Bethesda. Many "liberal" publications, like the Washington Post are proud partners in such cultural undertaking.

Our mountains are red with the blood of the best sons of the soil and our mountains have been blackened by the anti-earth nuclear tests that the religion-oriented army of Pakistan conducted on our motherland.

As we write these lines our people are facing a slow motion motion genocide in Baluchistan, the Texas-sized stateless region divided among Pakistan, Iran and Afghanistan due to the cruelty and mischief of white people of Great Britain.

The Pakistanis and Iranians have been killing our people and looting our resources, just as you were treated and decimated here in the United States. As such we need your help to stop these atrocities against the Baluch people.

Now our Baluch fishermen from our historic town of of Pasni will be uprooted from their ancestral fishing waters s Pakistan navy is planning to build a nava harbor there. Pasni does not belong to these people from the north; the area is indigenous Baluch land.

We urge you to please write to the highest officials of the United States, including President Barrack Obama and military chief Admiral Mike Mullen that they must act to save the baluch land, sea and mountains from further destruction.

All friends of earth and environment must come forward and tell Pakistan enough is enough. Pakistan, and Iran, must be told hands off Baluchistan.
