LAHORE: Jamaat-e-Islami Secretary General Liaquat Baloch on Sunday said that the government was not serious in resolving the problems of Balochistan.
Terming the NFC award and Afghaz-e-Haqooq-Balochistan package an old and tested methods, he said that provinces should be awarded their due rights and autonomy in line with the Constitution.
He said that elected parties were not performing their obligations of making amendments in the Constitution.
The government and establishment were trying to foil the Supreme Court’s bid to recover missing persons, he remarked.
Speaking on this occasion, JI Balochistan Amir Abdul Matin Khanzada said Baloch people want to see the trial of Nawab Akbar Bugti’s murderer.
