The Baloch Hal News
QUETTA: The newly elected president of National Party (NP), Senator Abdul Malik Baloch has said historical and geographical areas of Balochs, Sindhis, Punjabis, Pashtoons and Siraekis should be recognized as the units of the country.
“Jacobabad, Rajanpur and Dera Ghazi Khan should beincorporated with Balochistan and its people should be given complete authority on their resources,” he said.
The Baloch senator expressed these view while addressing the newly-electedcabinet members during the concluding session of 3rd party’s session and the oath taking ceremony of newly elected central and provincial members, here on Monday.
He lauded the party workers for maintaining discipline during the session and urged upon them to concentrate on getting modern education to meet the challenges of modern world.
He thanked party workers for reposing trust in him and promised that he would not take any such step which bring bad name to Baloch nation and Balochistan. “We believe in serving oppressed people, communities and all human beings,” headded.
NP leader alleged Balochistan was the victim of state atrocities and the militaryoperation was continued. “We are receiving decomposed dead bodies of our youth and entire Baloch nation is victim of state excesses. We must think about it and in such a situation unity is the only option to steer Baloch nation out from the difficulties,” he remarked.
He urged that the scarifies of Nawab Akbar Khan Bugti, Balach Marri, Ghulam Muhammad Baloch and other Baloch martyrs should not go waste. “We should give result of these scarifies to Baloch nation in the shape of right of self- determination and complete authority to Baloch nation on their own resources,” he added.
Dr. Malik said the existence of Baloch nation was in jeopardy at this moment and it was the biggest problem as establishment was treating Baloch nation like American Red- Indians and want to eliminate Balochs.
He said that the cycle of terrorism in Balochistan was the outcome of policies of dictatorial forces which was continued from Afghan Revolution. “Unless establishment changes its policies with India and Afghanistan, the terrorism can not be ended,” NP leader said.
He said that the targets of NP were much oblivious and they would not backtrack from them. “Historical and geographical areas of Balochs, Sindhis, Pashtoons, Punjabis and Siraekis should be accepted units of the country and their geography should be re-demarcated on historical basis,” he said and adding that Rajanpur, Dera Ghazi Khan and Jacobabad were historically parts of Balochistan and these areas should be incorporated with Balochistan.
On the occasion, veteran Baloch nationalist leader, Dr. Abdul Hayee Baloch also addressed and urged upon the newly elected members to work hard and discharge their responsibilities honestly.
