Occupied Balochistan: Awami National Party (ANP) Balochistan chapter convener Abdual Zahir Kasi accused Muthahida Quami Movement (MQM) of killing Pashtun, Baloch and Sindh people in Karachi in order to get complete control over the financial hub of the country. Addressing a news conference at Quetta Press Club here on Saturday, Mr. Abdul Zahir said government should protect the rights of people living in Karachi regardless their ethnicity and race.
“A judicial commission should be formed to investigate into the serious allegations leveled against Altaf Hussain and other MQM leaders by former provincial home minister Zulfiqar Mirza. The truth must be unveiled before the people as serious plot like breaking up Pakistan was made,” He said it was MQM that brought culture of extortion, targeted killing and kidnapping for ransom in Karachi. He demanded a massive operation in Karachi without any discrimination to de-weaponise the city and book the culprits behind the killings of innocent people.
Responding to a query over the killings during in Balochistan, Arbab Abdul Zahir said it was security agencies that creating problems and disturbance. “There would be complete peace and harmony in Balochistan once security agencies decide to play a positive role,” he said. He also said NATO containers are going missing from Chaman border and the goods and military hardware are on sell even in open markets of Quetta. “This can not be done without the patronage of government functionaries,” he alleged.
