Iran hangs 9 in Zahedan and Taibad, Three Baluch men target killed by security forces

Occupied Balochistan: According to reports, at least nine people were hanged in the morning in the towns of Zahedan and Taibad.

On Thursday, September 15, nine prisoners in Zahedan and Taibad were executed. Four of them were hanged in the Central Zahedan Prison and five of them were sent to the gallows in the Central Taibad Prison.

The Iranian Judiciary has still not announced these executions. (Human Rights and Democracy Activists in Iran – Sep. 15, 2011)

Iranian regime kills 3 young men in Baluchistan

On the evening of Wednesday, September 7, a car carrying fuel with three passengers identified as Eqbal Dastfard, 25, Mohammad ZardKouhi, 24 along with his 30 year old brother Adham ZardKouhi were travelling in the Bam-Iranshahr road when they were targeted and shot by security forces.

The young men all died on the spot in the ensuing fire after suffering severe burns and not receiving any help.

Notably, after fuel was rationed in Iran, a large number of young Baluch men who used their cars for taxis inside towns now carry and sell fuel. (Human Rights Activists in Iran – Sep. 13, 2011)
