Three more Baloch students abducted by Pakistani security forces

Occupied Balochistan: Pakistan continues to violate human rights of the Baloch people as world leaders gather at the UN head quarters, in Geneva, to discuss how to make world a safer place. Three more students identified as Arafat s/o Ibrahim 17 years old, Zahoor s/o Abdul Kareem 16 years old and Musadique s/o Murad Mohd 17 years old, were abducted by FC personnel near Shadi Kaur region of Pasni town. They were on their way to Quetta to resume their studies. All the abducted youth are college students and they are being held at some undisclosed location. Friends and families have not been informed of the whereabouts.

Separately, FC personnel abducted the renowned Balochi poet and social worker Shakir Shad. Shakir was travelling by Karachi-Turbat bound bus. The bus had not yet reached Turbat town when the Pakistani security forces stopped it on half way and whisked away Shakir Shad. He is a social activist and a renowned poet in Balochi. Like all other disappeared persons his whereabouts also remain unknown.

It should be noted that Baloch Nationalist political parties and the Voice for Baloch Missing Persons say that more than 13,000 Baloch activists including students, teachers, lawyers and social activists have been abducted by Pakistani security forces. Over 200 mutilated and bullet-ridden bodies of enforced-disappeared Baloch have been found in deserted area across Balochistan. It is feared that the rest of the missing persons will also be killed in the similar fashion if the International Human Rights Organisation don’t intervene to pressurise Pakistan to stop its atrocities in Balochistan. The Baloch say this new “kill and dump policy” is part of Pakistan’s secret dirty war in Balochistan.
