Two Baluch activists killed by Pakistan and bodies dumped
Two Baluch activists who were arrested by Pakistani armed forces last year have been killed in the custody of the state forces and their bodies dumped near Turbat city of East Baluchistan.
According to a Baluch Untiy Conference statement the men were identified as Jamil Yaqub an activist of Baluchistan National Movement –mengal group, and Qayyum Baluch a Baluch Students’ Organisation activist.
Jamil Yaqub was arrested on 28 August 2010 and Qayyum Baluch was abducted on 11 December 2010.
The nationalists of Baluchistan have not made any data available so far; however, counting the reports of those activists killed in the custody of Pakistani security forces since June 2010 exceed figure 100.
A separate report published in Pakistani websites says that 2 brothers shot dead in Quetta. Both the deceased belonged to Punjab. A spokesman of the Baluch Nationalist Liberation Army, Mazarin Baluch, claimed responsibility for the killings.
