Occupied Balochistan: At least four persons, including the driver, foreman and two passengers were injured in an attack on Quetta Express. Baloch fighters attacked the Balochistan – Punjab bound Quetta Express with rockets and other light machineguns in Notal area of Nasirabad district on Thursday night, Baloch English Media reported.
In two separate attacks near Nasirabad and Dera Bugti on Tuesday and late Wednesday night, Baloch Sarmachars blew up another four gas pipelines. The main gas pipelines of 24-inch and 18-inch diameter supplying gas to Quetta and other eight districts of Balochistan were again blown up last night. An official of the Sui Southern Gas Company Limited (SSGC) confirmed that “Two 24-inch and 18-inch diametre gas pipelines were blown up again. Earlier technical teams had finished repairs on the same pipelines in the tool plaza area,” SSGC’s 18-inch and 12-inch diameter high pressure gas pipelines were again blown up at Shori area in Nasirabad about 105 kilometres from Shikarpur to Sibi, reports published on BEM confirmed.
In a Similar attack, the fighters of BRA had planted explosive materials with 16-inch and 08-inch diameters pipelines and detonated them in Dera Bugti district on Thursday. Gas supply from gas-wells numbers 40, 41 and 44 had been disrupted.
Baloch Republican Army (BRA) has accepted the responsibilities of blowing up pipelines. Suspension of gas has severely affected the routine life of the people, who are currently dealing with the freezing temperatures.
Meanwhile the BRA spokesperson Sarbaaz Baloch informed the news agencies from an undisclosed location that fighters from his organisation have killed two security forces personnel and an engineer and injured three other in an attack near Dera Bugti. He vowed that to continue such attacks until the Independence of Balochistan from the yoke of Pakistan.
Power was suspended to Quetta and fourteen other districts including Mastung, Kalat, Khuzdar, Pishin, Loralai, Naushki, Ziarat, Kila Abdullah, Kila Saifullah after four electric towers of main transmission lines of 222 KV and 132 KV (double circuit) were blown up in Aab-e-Gum area some 60 kilometers in Southeast of Quetta. Media reports say that Quetta and several other districts of Balochistan are facing first ever power crises as power remained disrupted for the fifth consecutive days. Hundreds of outraged protesters blocked Quetta-Taftan highway on Thursday in Mantung against suspension of power supply to central and southern parts of Balochistan since Saturday.
Meanwhile unknown armed men set ablaze a vehicle of Public Health Department on Thursday. According to BEM source, the vehicle was parked near the office when unidentified men set it on fire and fled from the scene. The vehicle was completely destroyed.
Additionally, four Pakistani security personnel sustained injuries in a remote control blast in Perko area of Dera Bugti on Thursday source said. According to official source, security personnel were on their way to fetched water when their vehicle was attacked with a remote control device in Perko area. As result of explosion, three security personnel received multiple splinter wounds.
Those injured were identified as lance Naik Altaf, Nazar Akram and Akhtar Jan. Akhtar Jan is stated to be in critical condition, hospital sources said.
Separately, on Thursday night, Baloch liberation Front’s spokesperson Douda Baloch in call phone call to media confirmed that the BLF fighters have attacked the Jevani Kohsaar check post of Pakistan Para-military forces in Gwader district. Resultantly, three security force personnel were wounded. The spokesman of BLF further said that four Coast Guard security men have been killed in a remote controlled blast in the same region. He said Baloch resistance Organisations will continue their attack on Pakistan security forces until their complete withdrawal from occupied Balochistan.
In separate incident the Baloch Liberation Army a vehicle of Marri force in Chamalang area Balochistan. Three security forces personnel were killed and two sustained injuries as a result of the attack, said sources.
The coal extract from chamalang (Balochistan) is considered to be the best fuel for industries that is why it is being mined and shifted straight to Punjab with the help of Pakistani army.
Spokesman of BLA Mr. Azad Baloch claimed responsibility of the attack on Marri forces in Chamalang. He further said that Baloch Sarmachars killed two security personnel in Gazzi wadh area of Kohlu in a separate attack.
He also claimed to have attacked a truck loaded with coal. The assistant driver of the truck died on spot while another man has been wounded. The BLA spokesman said that Baloch resistance Organisations are struggling to regain their statehood and attacks on occupying force will continue until Balochistan re-emerges as a sovereign state on the map of world.
