Faiz Sasoli gunned down in Khuzdar, He belonged to anti Baloch group: BLA

Occupied Baluchistan: According to media report Unknown attackers opened indiscriminate fire on Faiz Mohammad Sasoli near Faisal Hotel in Khuzdar District on Sunday afternoon. Mr Sasoli, who was driving his car along with some family members, died on the spot and failed to control the car due to his injuries. As a result, the car stormed into a neighbouring shop and injured two other people sitting there.


Meanwhile Baluch Liberation Army (BLA) claimed responsibility for killing Faiz Sasoli. Jahind Baloch a spokesperson of the Baluch Liberation Army charged that Mr Sasoli was a leader of anti Baloch Defense Armed Group and was involved in attacks against Baluch students and other political activists. He warned other members of the anti Baluch group that they should also be prepared to face the same fate.


Jihand Baluch said that BLA has attacked Faiz Sasoli twice before but he survived. He further said Sasoli and one of his tribal Sardars had a press conference and he tried to cover his guilt but few days after the press conference the anti Baloch group had a secret meeting in the suburbs of Khuzdar; Faiz Sasoli was also present in that meeting. Soon after that meeting Baluch students were attacked in Khuzdar, and BLA has been informed that Sasoli was involved in that attack.


The spokesperson of BLA said “we warn the other members of this anti Baloch group that they will not be spared time to kill more innocent Baloch and there will be no compromise with them until the elimination of this group”.


*Baloch Musallah Dafayee Tanzeem (Baluch armed defence group) has been operating against Baloch Students Organization (BSO-Azad) and other Baluch political parties in Balochistan. This Organisation, according some reports, had threatened Khuzdar press Club to stop covering the gatherings and protest rallies of Baloch pro-liberation parties. They had also warned Baloch people to stay away from the meetings and rallies of Baloch pro-independence political and students Organisations because they will continue to attack the rallies and seminars of the Baloch political parties.
