She said there was neither any law nor humanity in Pakistan. The chief justice fought for consecutive two years for his reinstatement but after he got his job back he forgot all the promises that he made during his campaign to the public, almost in every speech he promised that he will raise the issue of forced-disappeared persons.
Unfortunately after his reinstatement he forgot all the promises and he is silent. The time and energy that he wasted on NRO etc, if he had spent that time and enthusiasm on the issue of missing person today probably they would have been out with their families. She said instead of scolding police officials chief justice must serve notices to the personnel of Intelligence agencies to appear in courts and give information regarding the missing persons. It is a well-known fact that most of the missing persons are in their custody.
She also strongly criticised the International Human Rights Organisation, the Amnesty International, and the UN for their silence over such serious issues. Despite our repeated appeals these organisation are doing nothing at all, she alleged.
She said chief justice of Balochistan always express his anger at the lawyers of missing person whereas we have directly nominated the personnel of Intelligence agencies for the abduction of Jalil Reki but chief justice has taken no action at all. “Where we shall go for the search of justice?; if my son has been killed his body must be returned and if he is still alive he must be produced to the court of law and surfaced immediately”.
It must, however, be noted that at present thousands of people from Balochistan are in the custody of Pakistani intelligence agencies for crime they did not commit. Few days ago there were similar agonizing appeals from the mother of Mahboob Wahela for her son’s release and the families of Bohair Bangulzai, Maqbool Langov, Wadood Raisani and Ghaffar Langove, Dr Akbar Marri and many others.
Whereas the family of Zakir Majeed Baloch is currently observing a token hunger strike in front of Karach Press Club. At least one Baloch mother ‘mother of Iqbal Baloch’ passed away due to the sadness of her son’s abduction and disappearance but many Baloch mothers and sisters are living a torment life. They do not know what is being done to their loved one and in which conditions they are being held.
Baloch mothers, sisters, wives, sons and daughters don’t even know whether they’ll be lucky enough to see their loved ones (sons, fathers, husbands and brothers) again.
Pakistan’s all concerned department from its parliament to justice department and media all have failed to comfort these suffering Baloch families. On the other hand that the silence of International champions of human rights is not only outrageous but it’s also frustrating for the Baloch families and Baloch Nation as a whole.
This silent witnessing of crimes against humanity of International Community, western democracies are encouraging the Pakistani state Intelligence agencies to commit more atrocities in Balochistan. They think they are above everything and that whatever they do they’ll not be held accountable on either National or International level. The civilised world need to wake up and take action against the states sponsored terrorism against innocent people of Balochistan and other occupied Nations.
