Target Killing Of Innocent Baloch People Continues In Karachi 11 More Killed 50 Arrested

Target killings tally touches 22 in Karachi:

Unknown assailants have shot dead at least 11 persons in last 36 hours in separate parts of Karachi while according to police calculation, the death toll by target killings in Karachi has risen to 22 persons, Geo news Thursday reported.

The areas witnessed the target shootings included Lyari, Garden, Kharadar, Aaram Bagh and Eid Gah localities in metropolis city as 3 persons, identified as Aamir Baloch, Shakir Baloch and Nawaz Baloch, were lately gunned down in Lyari.

Najmi Alam, president PPP Karachi division told Geo news, three latest victims belonged to PPP city area and called on government for arrest of responsible assailants.

Police also claimed presence of rising tension in many parts of Karachi that include Lyari, Garden, Kharadar, Aagra Taaj and Usmanabad.

Over 50 suspects nabbed from Lyari: Unknown assailants have shot dead another 11 persons amidst last 36 hours from separate parts here in metropolis while according to police calculation, the death toll by target killings in Karachi has risen to 25 persons, Geo news Thursday reported.

The latest incident occurred when Amir was kidnapped by some unknown lifters and later killed under custody who was reportedly hailing from a political party.

Moreover, another 8 persons were gunned down in Pak Colony locality while the funeral prayer of ill-fated Amir was in progress, sources said.

Later, as many as five persons were shot dead by five motorcyclists meanwhile, another 3 youths were abducted to be killed from Pak Colony and Lyari localities on Saturday, sources claimed.

Meanwhile, DIG South Karachi Ghulam Nabi Memon has confirmed arrest of at least 52 persons during joint raids carried out by police and rangers from Saddar Town and Lyari localities while more crackdowns have been anticipated in consequence of indication of arrested suspects, newsman said.
