Balochistan shocked on Musharraf’s release

mamaBaloch people are more rational in this whole region and had no false notions in their mind on any important issue of human behaviour. They are practical and make always correct assessment in all conditions, including politics. Barring a few young hot heads, the people generally adopt a rational and practical approach dealing with any crisis. Long history spread over to more than three thousand years and harsh living conditions made the Balochs perfect human being which their neighbours lacked presumably for their more comfortable life.
Right from the day one, all concerned were convinced that the former President and Army Chief will never be punished for the brutal assassination of elderly Baloch leader Nawab Akbar Bugti and his 30 other associates killed in the aerial strike. The cave story was concocted only to cover the use of Air Force in the mass murder. It is clear that the President of Pakistan can call the Air Force most probably the ground forces might have been handicapped. Since missiles were used from the air, the body of Nawab Bugti presumably tore apart in the strike. That is why the Government did not show the condition of the body of late leader.
There was evidence that Musharraf was trying to find pretext to launch the military operation in Balochistan and he got it when his meeting came under attack and rockets fell close to him and his handpicked Governor. Rockets or bullets were fired on the helicopter in the use of two Army Generals in the air.
It is on record that the military leadership was opposed to his return following his unceremonious expulsion from power—both as COAS and the President of Pakistan. The war between Musharraf and the security establishment was his ‘unauthorized’ return and his participation in politics and election was unwarranted. He was punished and detained by defying the security establishment and not killing Benazir Bhutto, Nawab Bugti, Maulana Bashir Ghazi, or confining the judges of superior courts under house arrest or committing treason on Nov 3rd by subverting the constitution. That is understandable that he was granted bail in all cases and he had been declared a free man to anywhere, including Dubai, once he abide by the dictates of the security establishment.
