The Baloch Students Organization (Azad) spokesperson condemned the ongoing military operations in Gomazi area of Tump, Balochistan. State military forces blockaded all entry & exit points to Gomazi region and indiscriminately bombarded the area. Dozens of innocent unarmed Baloch civilians were abducted by state forces during the operation and numerous houses were bombed; additionally several residents were injured, Jamal son of Rasool Bakhsh is killed by forces’ firing. According to sources; in the early morning hours, at least 30 state military vehicles surrounded and besieged villages in the Kharan area as well, burning several houses. Reports of forces operations in Khuzdar Gresha area have also emerged, indicating that state forces harassed and abducted several people, while Jamal S/O Rasool Baksh is killed by forces’ firing.
The BSO-Azad spokesperson said that the occupier state is enforcing a policy of terrorist activities in Balochistan designed to evict the Baloch communities from their home territories. The houses and villages of innocent Baloch civilians are being burned down and bulldozed to complete construction of roads from Gwadar to China. Millions of people, entire communities, are forced to emigrate as a result of the state’s aggressive military policies. Countless innocent Baloch youth are detained in state dungeons, and thousands of mutilated bodies of peaceful Baloch political activists are found dumped in Balochistan. Since November; hundreds of Baloch people have been enforced disappeared including women & children; and more than 30 mutilated bodies of missing Baloch persons have been recovered.
In anticipation of the state’s deceptive tactics in the media; the BSO-Azad spokesperson urged the regional media representatives to maintain journalistic integrity and publish the facts rather than the state’s dishonest narrative.
The BSO-Azad spokesperson further requested that international human rights organization acknowledge Pakistan’s war crimes in Balochistan and play a role in preventing the state’s genocidal policies in Balochistan.
