Karachi: The Voice for Baloch missing Persons along with families of Baloch missing persons have been protesting in front of Karachi Press Club from past 25 day. Pakistani media seems to have turned a blind eye and avoids raising the issue of enforced-disappearances in Balochistan.

The senior vice chairman of JSQM (Jeay Sindh Qaumi Mahaz, a Sindhi nationalist political party), Mir Alam Marri visited the hunger strike camp and expressed solidarity with relatives of Baloch Missing Persons and Martyrs, who were killed extra-judicially after being abducted and brutally tortured by intelligence agencies and Para-military troops of Pakistan.

Talking to the relatives of abducted Baloch activist Mir Alam Marri said that Baloch resistance organisation are struggling for freedom of Balochistan and Sinhies will fully support their cause. “Independence is the right of Baloch people and we completely support it,” Said Mr Marri.

Mir Alaam Marri, who along with other comrades visited the hunger strike camp, said that intelligence agencies and FC (Frontier Corps) of Pakistan are directly involved in abducting, extra-judicial killings and dumping of the bullet-ridden bodies of Baloch youth. JSQM strongly condemns such brutal and cowardly acts of occupying forces in Balochistan, said Alam Marri said.

He said state security forces that are responsible abductions and extra-judicial killings of Baloch activist in Balochistan were also abducting Sindhi activist in Sindh. Martyr Saraai Quban, Ropahlo Toliary and Zulfiqar Kolachi were extra-judicially killed by secret agencies of Pakistan while several Sindhi activists are still being illegally held by Pakistani forces.

He appealed to the International Community, European Union, Amnesty International and other Human Rights Organisations to pressurize Pakistan to immediately end its atrocities against Baloch and Sindhi people and recognize them as free nations.
