Defiance campaign to be continued: Decides Central Committee

The meeting of Central Committee of B.S.O. Azaad was presided by Chairman Bashir Zaib Baloch, where the decision of continuing the defiance campaign took place. Other decisions included the boycott of the singers who attended Pakistan’s programs of 14th August, a “Balochi Deewan (musical show)” in Karachi and formation of a committee to gather the information regarding Baloch abductees.

Chairman Bashir Zaib addressed the members of the committee, in his address he said that in the international economical war there is no concept of everlasting friendship or enemies, therefore under such circumstances Baloch nation must rely on its own potentials, to take ahead the national freedom movement without falling into compromises. He pointed out that the tribal conflicts and societal issues in Baloch society are caused due to the colonial system and due to the distance from the national culture and national politics. The armed struggle which began in the year 2001 is now bringing an end to the problems and political parties formed by the colonial rulers, he further said that armed struggle has started to bring its positive aspects, such as the rejection of National Party and B.N.P. by Baloch nation, which are a creation of the colonial system. He said that the colonial powers won’t ever want Baloch nation to obtain its freedom, Baloch people will have to rely on their own selves to gain Independence and it can be achieved by giving massive damages to their (colonial) system. Chairman said that Baloch nation is fortunate to have an ideological leader as Nawab Khairbuksh Marri, a leader as Brahamdagh, and an organized party as Baloch National Front. He announced that the Defiance campaign would be brought forward with a new strategy and preparations for the release of Vice Chairman (B.S.O. Azaad) Zakir Majeed, Dr. Deen Muhammed, Jalil Rieki, Mushtaq Baloch and thousands of other political activists. Chairman clarified and instructed the companions of the Baloch struggle to avoid using the word separatism for the cause as the cause is purely for Independence.

For political guidance of the “sangats” (members) of B.S.O. Azaad, workers conferences of Malir, Karachi, Gadap, Las Baella and Hub zone has been decided to be held in Karachi, all the zones of Makuran including Panjgur zone would have their conference in Turbat, In Khuzdar the conference would be held for Kalat, Mashkay, Naal, Zehri, Tootak, Kark, Baseema and Soorab Zone, Mach, Mangochar, Mastung, Noshki, Kharan and Dalbadin Zone in Quetta, Pat Feeder, Sibi Naseerabad, Kohlu and Teepal zone in Sibi, and Lahore, Islamabad and Peshawar zone would have their conference in Peshawar.

On 4th September a public gathering in Bulaeda has also been decided in the memory of Shaheed Javed and a musical show in Karachi for the Baloch abductees.
