Balochistan: Relatives of abducted Baloch protest in Mongchar and Thump

The residents of Khaliq Abad area of Mongchar have blocked the main Quetta – Karachi road for all kind of traffic to demand the release of their loved ones on Tuesday.
The protesters said that Pakistani security forces have abducted several innocent people from Killi Nichaari in Mongchar area of Balochistan.
They demanded if their loved ones were involved in any illegal activities, they should be presented to a court of law and given the opportunity to a legal representative.
The protesters including dozens of women and children alleged that Pakistani forces raided their houses on Monday night and abducted several people including Masood Ahmad Nichari, Jalil Ahmad Nichari, Farooq Nichari, Majid Nichari, Attaullah Kaloi, Saleh Mohammad Kaloi and Ghulam Hussain Langov.
“The Pakistani forces violated the sanctity of houses and harassed women and children during the search operation. The men were extra-judicially arrested and disappeared,” the protesters said.
They demanded from Balochistan government and judiciary to make sure the immediate release of their loved ones.
The protesters peacefully dispersed after negotiations with the local authorities but they vowed to block the main road again, if their loved once are not released within next few days.
Meanwhile in Tump region of Balochistan Pakistani forces raided a hotel and abducted a local teacher named Baitullah Baloch.
The unprovoked action of Pakistani forces triggered a huge demonstration in Thump where residents took to streets and protest against the arrest and disappearing of the Baloch teacher.
However, there was no clue of teacher Baitullah and residents of Mongchar until the filing of this reports.
It is also pertinent to mention that on 14 June (Sunday) Pakistan forces abducted at least 240 Baloch people from different area of Quetta, capital city of Balochistan.
Pakistani media claimed that the arrested men were ‘suspected militants’ whereas locals of Quetta said that the arrested men were common labourers and innocent civilians.
