Pakistani forces using gunship helicopters and heavy weapons against unarmed civilian: BLA

The Spokesman of Baloch Liberation Army, Meerak Baloch, said on Tuesday that Pakistan military and Para-military forces are using gunship helicopter to indiscriminately bomb civilian populations in Balochistan.

He said the fighters of the Baloch Liberation Army have come to the defence of Baloch villagers and attacked occupying forces in different areas inflicting heavy losses on them.

“Our Freedom fighters have attacked Pakistan paramilitary forces in Johan area of Balochistan where the occupying forces were busy in Military operation against innocent Baloch civilians, in these attacks several Pakistani soldiers were killed and injured,” Meerak Baloch told NNI.

Meerak Baloch also informed the media from an undisclosed location that Pakistani forces have conducted a massive military operation in Johan, Isplinji area of Mastung and in surrounding areas. He said the forces have beaten up poor shepherds and nomads.

“Many Baloch civilians were Martyred & injured in this operation. Occupying Forces also burnt down the houses of Baloch people, looted valuables and livestock. The Pakistani occupying forces have been using heavy weapons and gunship helicopters against unarmed civilians during these operations. While defending Baloch civilians our Freedom fighters strongly resisted Pakistani forces in that area,” Mr Baloch said.

Meerak Baloch further said on 23rd May fighters from his organisation attacked a Frontier Corps checkpoint near Grade station in Panjgoor with heavy weapons. He said in that attack three FC personnel were killed and several other injured.

He vowed that Pakistani Military operations against innocent Baloch people will be strongly responded and the attacks of Baloch fighters will continue till freedom of Balochistan.

Separately Meerak also accepted responsibility of an attack on Pakistani security forces personnel in Nushki bazar. He said fighters from his organisation attacked and killed two members of Pakistani intelligence agencies.

Earlier on Tuesday sources had reported motorcycle riders attacked two personnel of Pakistani security agencies in Nushki Bazar when they were buying SIM cards from a mobile franchise shop. One of the men died on the spot while other succumbed to his injuries on the way to hospital.

The killed men have been named as Mushtaq Ahmad son of Ghulam Qadir and Nasir Abbas both residents of Mainwali district of Pujab, Pakistan.
