QUETTA: BRP (Baloch Republican Party), has released a list of 147 alleged missing (abducted by security) persons, requesting UN to intervene for their release.
While releasing this list of allegedly abducted persons in the current democratic, civilian period, the BRP has termed the action as extra-constitutional, claiming that those abducted have been kept in Mach and Dera Murad Jamali jails. The list includes such names as Jalil Raiki, Chakar Qambrani, Mir Abdul Wadood Raeesani, Najeeb Baloch, Qadir Baloch Jehanzeb Jamaluddini, and others. They said that this was just a limited list of party members, while countless citizens had also been abducted and were missing. Expressing his strong resentment over the recent counter statements of FC officials, BRP spokesman Sher Muhammad Bugti has accused FC of fanning the hatred, and has also castigated the recent statement regarding Nawab Brahamdagh Bugti and Nawabzada Hairbayar Marri as fake; just the way they had declared a peaceful environment, following the crowning of Sardar Aali Bugti. Meanwhile Baloch – Qaum -Dost – Committee’s head, Nawabzada Hayarbar Marri has announced his termination of any links with government officials as they did not seem to be serious or just about the reconciliation and release of missing Baloch persons, after six meetings.
