Dear Community Partner,

My name is Dijana Rizvanovic, and I am the Interpreter Relations Specialist with CyraCom International, a company headquartered in Tucson, AZ, USA. CyraCom is the leading provider of language interpreting services in the country and in Europe, and its interpretation and translation solutions are exclusively endorsed by American Hospital Association. CyraCom bridges communication gaps for organizations that need rapid access to language assistance. The company supports hundreds of languages and operates 24/7.

Through your work with immigrant community members, many of whom do not speak English, or speak very limited English, you’ve learned that to improve our communities, to make them places where people are healthy, safe, and cared for, takes a lot of work. We know all too well that we can't do it alone. As a language service provider, we are reaching out to you to you in hopes to find the most effective ways to collaborate in identifying potential interpreters within your own communities and together do the work of building successful, productive, happy communities.

I came to the United States from Bosnia over two decades ago, alone, scared, unable to speak English, lost. My access to all available resources was non-existent or limited because of my inability to communicate effectively. My journey to today’s success was slow and with many bumps in in the road. While learning English, I would have greatly benefited from services of a professional interpreter. Because of my own experience I became a language access advocate, fighting for the rights of Limited English Proficiency (LEP) individuals and families.

I was hoping to work with you in identifying individuals in your communities, with strong English and Balochi language skills, and allow us to offer them an opportunity to become professional interpreters. Successful communication between service providers and their clients or patients is essential. Professional interpreters close the language gap and assure clear communication.

I would love an opportunity to speak with you further about reaching out to your community members who can become successful, professional interpreters. Please feel free to forward this message to any of your professional networks!

Thank you for your time and I look forward to hearing from you soon.

Best regards,

Dijana
