Balochistan freedom to get boost as Rohrabacher introduces Kurdistan bill today
September 19, 2014
A U.S. congressman, who is an ardent advocate for an independent Balochistan, has stepped up to the plate to help create a free Kurdistan.
Rep. Dana Rohrabacher, chairman of the House Foreign Affairs Subcommittee on Europe, Eurasia, and Emerging Threats, will introduce legislation Friday that would enable direct military aid to Kurdistan as a preferred means to combat the terrorist group ISIL.
The California Republican will offer a House Resolution that the United States Government abide by a referendum to create Kurdistan, now part of Iraq, as an independent and sovereign state. Rohrabacher also will introduce a bill “to clarify ownership of crude oil produced within the jurisdiction of the Kurdistan Regional Government of Iraq, and to allow the direct provision of defense articles and services to the Kurdistan Regional Government of Iraq.”
Rohrabacher's help for Kurdistan may eventually lead to the creation of an independent Balochistan in southwest Asia.
The U.S. congressman along with fellow Republicans Louie Gohmert, Ted Poe and Steve King had introduced a historic resolution on Balochistan's right to self-determination two years ago in the U.S. Congress.
According to Cardiff-based Baloch leader His Royal Highness the Khan of Kalat Agha Suleman Daud all 155 Tea Party members in the U.S. House of Representatives are in favor of creation of an independent Balochistan.
