WASHINGTON DC -- Free Balochistan Campaign USA in a Press release Monday said the people of Balochistan have pinned great hopes on the summit meeting between PresidentBarack Obama and Narendra Modi and has expressed optimism the two would address the question of Balochistan independence as one of the world’s top burning issues that needs urgent global attention.

The DC-based FBC said the camaraderie between the leaders of the world’s strongest and the world’s largest democracies brings a glimmer of hope for the long suffering people of Balochistan.

“It is heartening to note Prime Minister Narendra Modi and President Barack Obama would be meeting twice in as many days,” the FBC said.

The FBC pointed out to the two world leaders France-sized Balochistan is one of the few last remaining strongholds of secularism in southwest Asia, but the state of Pakistan is trying to promote the allies of the Islamic State to counter the secular political fabric of Baloch society.

The FBC said the demand by the ISIS to free Aafia Siddiqui, an alleged terrorist of Pakistan origin, has let the cat out of the bag and proven beyond any doubt that the state of Pakistan is helping the dreaded terror organization, rampaging throughout the Middle East.
“Islamabad is sheltering al Qaeda’s No. 1 Ayman al Zwahiri, Mumbai’s terror don Daud Ebrahim, and international drug king Imam Bheel, while the Baloch freedom lovers, also called the sarmachars, are single handedly taking on one of the world’s most organized terrorist outfit, the Inter-Services Intelligence of Pakistan,” the FBC said.

The FBC voiced concern that China has been given a free hand to loot and plunder the resources of Balochistan and the key port at Gwadar is now effectively under Chinese control against the national aspirations of the Baloch people.

The FBC pointed out to the two world leaders since the start of August two dozen Baloch freedom activists have been forcibly disappeared in Balochistan while more than one half dozen tortured bodies have been found there.

The FBC pointed out supporting the Baloch sarmachars or freedom fighters in Balochistan was the best anti-dote against ISIS, al Qaeda and allied forces and urged them not to be blackmailed by Pakistani terror and instead to open direct talks with the founding fathers of an independent Balochistan and the leaders of the sarmachars, who are mostly based in Europe.

The FBC said arming and training the sarmachars for the independence of Balochistan is the crucial need of the hour to prevent the rise of the Islamic State in Balochistan.
The FBC USA is an initiative of the American Friends of Balochistan.
