NCRI - The Iranian regime hanged 11 prisoners including 5 women in the Central Prison of Zahedan, according to reports received from Iran.
The 11 prisoners were transferred to solitary confinements from Thursday, July 4 to prepare for their execution and were all hanged on Saturday morning July 6. At the same time, all connections of the prisoners were cutoff so the news would not leak.
The names of some of the executed are, Rasoul Khorouj, Vahid Rigi, Hamid Najafi and Naser Naqii.
In another case, 3 prisoners convicted of drug trafficking were hanged on the same day in Ardebil, northwest of Iran.
Two of the executed were brothers and aged 48 and 41. The third victim aged 34 was also convicted of drug trafficking.
They were all hanged in the yard of the Central Prison in Ardebil City.
