The families of bot the victims had been protesting about their disappearance until their dead bodies were recovered the other day. The killings have been widely condemned by different political parties while all businesses were instantly shut down in Gwadar and other parts of Balochistan after the recovery of the dead bodies of the two missing Baloch activists.

The Government Teachers Association (GTA) has announced to shut down all the schools in Gwadar in protest against the killing of the missing school teacher, Abdul Rehman Arif.

The killings come on the same day when international human rights watchdog Amnesty International urged the government of Pakistan to take urgent notice of the killings and abductions of civilians. The organization said that the dead bodies of at least ninety political workers and civilians had been found in the last four months for which the government was largely blamed.
