The attackers managed to flee safely after the attack. Heavy contingents of FC has reached in the area and started a search for attackers. No arrests were made so far.
The injured soldiers have been admitted in Compound Military Hospital whereas the dead body of the killed FC men have been sent to his native village after completing official formalities.
Separately, rockets were fired on an FC convoy Mashky region of district Awaran. No casualties have been reported in this attack.
Meanwhile a personnel of Frontier Corps (FC) sustained wounds in a hand grenade attack in Quetta here on Thursday night. Unidentified people hurled a hand grenade at a check post of FC located at Farooq-e-Azam Chowk on Sirki Road. Grenade exploded and wounded Lance Naik Inyathullah, who was later rushed to the hospital for treatment. Attackers escaped from the site under cover of darkness.
Police and FC personnel cordoned off the area and further beefed up the security.
In a presumable hit and run act, a Punjabi speaking person was shot dead in Buleda of Kech district in Balochistan on Thursday. According to reports reaching here, unidentified armed assailants opened indiscriminate firing on a person in Buleda tehsil of Kech and managed to flee the scene. As a result, he received critical wounds and succumbed to his injuries. Deceased has been identified as Saeed Ahmed resident of Punjab.
Police shifted the deceased body to hospital for autopsy and started further investigations.
According to a DailyTawar and Sana News Baluch Liberation Army claimed the responsibility of the attack on FC in Khuzdar, Quetta. The New paper quoted the BLA spokesperson Meerak Baluch as saying that fighters from his Organisation attacked an FC team in Khuzdar and killed three soldiers and three others suffered injuries.
He also claimed the responsibility of rocketing FWO in Soorab region of Baluchistan on 7 June. In addition speaking to Sana News he said that BLA claims responsibility of attacking an FC check post on Sirki Road Quetta. He alleged that as a result of the attack one official was killed and three were injured.
Meanwhile a spokesperson of BLF (Baluch Liberation Front) Doda Baluch also informed News agencies that fighters from his Organisation have destroyed a Police station in Kishkor area of district Awaran and killed a government spy named Ramatullah. He said BLF claims responsibility for both attacks.
